On April 25, 1982, the Egyptian Army’s relentless struggle to reclaim our land came to fruition. On this historic day, we remember and honor the brave individuals who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of Sinai.

In celebration of this significant event, the School of Mass Communication at CIC hosted a seminar titled “Challenges to Egyptian National Security in the Current Circumstances.” The seminar took place on Sunday, April 13 , 2024, in Toronto Hall, under the supervision of Prof. Prof. Amal El-Ghazawy, Dean of Mass Communication, and Prof. Magy El Halawany, Chairman of Mass Communication.

We were privileged to honor Egyptian General Samir Farag, one of the most distinguished military leaders in the country’s history. As a Senior Strategist, Security and Defense Advisory Board member for the President of Egypt, and former Assistant to the Minister of Defense, General Farag’s contributions to Egypt’s military legacy are immense. Hosting such figures on our campus allows us to reflect on Egypt’s great victories and the resilience of its people.
