At CIC, we believe that learning goes far beyond the classroom, and this semester’s Training
Week, held across both campuses under the inspiring slogan “From Theory to Practice,” was a
living example of that belief.
The week kicked off with hands-on, practical learning experiences and wrapped up with an
impactful career fair, giving students the full spectrum of what it means to be career-ready. Here’s
a look at the three core components that made Training Week a true success:
1. CIC Founder’s Arena: Where Visions Come to Life
- With the motto “Turn your vision into reality,” the CIC Founder’s Arena allowed students to
showcase their entrepreneurial spirit.
In New Cairo, each team created its video content and presented its projects to a panel of expert
judges. The competition was fierce and full of creativity, but in the end:
- Enactus took first place and won a 25K EGP fund from MTI Academy.
- Hult Prize came in second, earning a 10K EGP fund from MTI Academy.
In Zayed Campus,2 Fashion Designers Malak Ahmed and Menna Hegazy earned a 5K
EGP fund through a TP workshop.
2. The Training Hub: Real Talk from Industry Leaders
Throughout the week, students engaged in a variety of practical sessions with real-world experts.
We were honored to host some of the most influential names in business, media, and HR,
including:
- Dr. Mahmoud Khattab, CEO of B.TECH
- Dr. Nasha Akl, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Media
- Dr. Haitham El Hawary, Deputy GM – Banking Sector
- Dr. Kareem Mounir, HR GM at Americana
- Ali Hustler, Content Creator & Influencer
- Tamer Amin, TV Presenter
Each speaker brought a unique perspective, sharing personal journeys, industry insights, and
career advice that left our students inspired and informed.
3. Career Fair: Opening Doors to the Future
The week ended in a vibrant career fair that connected students with top-tier companies ready to
invest in fresh talent. Leading organizations include:
- Wuzzuf
- WE Telecom
- JW Marriott
- Americana
…all participated to offer training programs, internships, and real employment
opportunities — helping students take that all-important first step into the professional world.
Closing Note
Training Week at CIC was more than just a group of events — it was a real chance for students
to learn, grow, and take steps toward their future. From pitching ideas to learning from experts
and meeting top companies, it truly brought the theme “From Theory to Practice” to life.
