Dr. Ahmed Abdelaziz is a renowned orthopedic surgeon who earned his Medical Doctorate from Cairo University in 1982. A pioneer in the global orthopedic community, Dr. Abdelaziz’s research in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and total knee replacement has positioned him as an innovator in his field. His PhD thesis on arthroscopy for diagnosing knee injuries laid the groundwork for future advancements in minimally invasive orthopedic surgery.
Beyond his medical contributions, Dr. Abdelaziz is equally recognized for his humanitarian efforts. At the age of 75, he closed his private clinic in 2023 to volunteer for medical missions in Gaza. Partnering with an international team of doctors, he performed life-saving surgeries in conflict zones, providing critical aid under perilous conditions. His dedication to humanitarian service has earned him international respect and admiration, cementing his legacy as both a healer and a compassionate global citizen.
