A Glimpse into the Future of Media: CIC’s 8th International Media Conference

The Canadian International College (CIC) recently hosted its 8th International Media Conference, themed “The Future of Media Industry in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” 

The event brought together experts and young researchers to explore the evolving relationship between media and AI.

A key highlight was the Students’ Research Session, featuring five impressive projects conducted by CIC’s Dual Program students:

  1. Chatbots: Impact on Audience Engagement, AI, and User Experience
    Exploring how AI-driven chatbots enhance communication, engagement, and user experience.
  2. Revolutionizing Marketing Strategies: Guerilla Marketing’s Impact on Brand Image Among Gen Z
    This award-winning project examined how unconventional campaigns resonate with Gen Z audiences.
  3. How Short Videos (“Reels”) on Instagram Affect Attention Span Among Youth
    Analyzing how quick, engaging content influences youth attention spans and consumption habits.
  4. Film Marketing Strategy and Its Impact on Decision-Making Among Youth
    A look at how creative campaigns shape youth preferences in the film industry.
  5. The Representation of Autistic Women and Men in Drama: Perceptions Among Egyptian Mothers
    Highlighting media’s role in shaping understanding and acceptance of autism.

The session showcased the talent and creativity of CIC’s Dual Program students, addressing timely questions about media, technology, and society. As CIC continues to foster innovation, these projects reflect the bright future of media leaders in an AI-driven world.
